IMGCO’s service portfolio features a broad range of metal fabrication services, including the creation of complex weldments and assemblies that feature highly precise workmanship.
We provide a one-stop shop approach – from metal fabrication, to design engineering, and through to fabrication, welding, and assembly – to ensure an effortless transition from the beginning to the end of each project.
Our manufacturing team works closely with our automation, design engineering, and industrial services teams to provide comprehensive solutions for a wide array of equipment and system types, including custom conveyor systems and package handling systems. Our ability to strictly adhere to tight tolerances allows us to create long-lasting solutions that perform to the highest standards with minimal downtime.
Capabilities
Our facility in Ball Ground, Georgia, includes a fully-equipped shop for metal fabrication, welding, and machining. Our shop specializes in the fabrication of package handling solutions and conveyor systems, and our manufacturing team works with an impressive array of complex machinery, automation equipment, subassemblies, and spare parts to provide comprehensive end-to-end service for our customers.
Our facility features CNC machining centers, plasma cutters, and forming and rolling machinery. CNC machines can be used to create precision-crafted components made from a variety of materials, including:
- Aluminum
- Bronze
- Steel
Our AWS-certified welders create accurate and effective welds via metal inert as (MIG), tungsten inert gas (TIG), and stick welding stations. MIG welding is characterized by the use of a continuous wire feed, making it ideal for connecting materials such as aluminum and stainless steel. TIG welding slowly feeds long rods into the welding puddle, making it more suitable for use with thin-gauge materials.
Benefits of Automated Packaging
Our manufacturing team is capable of providing a wide range of automated packaging solutions for our customers. Automated packaging is particularly useful for companies engaged in large-scale manufacturing operations, as it allows manufacturers to optimize packaging solutions and take full control of cost and quality.
With automated packaging, highly-standardized quality control practices are possible, ensuring that products remain well-protected until they reach the end consumer. In addition, automated packaging brings improvements to the production process as a whole, allowing manufacturers to streamline processes from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing cycle.
IMG is an ISO 9001-compliant company, and we strive for constant and continuous process improvements. Our team of experts are extensively trained to think critically, solve problems, and develop creative solutions. We consistently test our procedures and abilities to improve our capabilities, and all of our projects are completed on schedule and on budget thanks to our extensive experience and project management expertise.
